The Competition
The water polo competition will take place over 13 days from 27 July to 8 August at the Shuangliu Modern Pentathlon Centre Swimming and Fencing Hall in Chengdu, China.
The first university men's water polo tournament was played at the 3rd International Summer Sports Week in Dortmund in 1953 with the first edition of the women's tournament played in Belgrade in 2009.
