Can I register for the 3x3 Basketball competition as an individual?

If you would like to play in the 3x3 Basketball competition but don't have a team to play with, please send an email to shane.cantelmi@unisport.com.au and we will use our best endeavours to find a team for you to play with.

I'm a domestic (Australian) student. Can I be part of this event?

As the event is primarily for international students, we will allow a small number of domestic students to take part. For the 3x3 Basketball competition, each team will be permitted to have one domestic student. For the Social Badminton, we will allow a small number of domestic students to participate.

Do I need to be a currently enrolled university student to participate in the event?

Yes, this event is only open to currently enrolled university students. You will be required at the time of registering to upload an image of your student card (and for 3x3 Basketball, the student cards of your team members) to verify your eligibility.

Do the team members on my 3x3 Basketball team all need to attend the same university?

There is no requirement for all of the team members on a 3x3 Basketball team to come from the same university.

For the 3x3 Basketball competition, are the teams mixed gender?

We welcome players of all genders and all ability levels to play. Teams will be classified as 'Open', meaning there is no restriction on the gender of players on each team.

Do I need to register in advance or can I just rock up on the day?

For the 3x3 Basketball competition, your team must register in advance to be part of the day. Team registrations have now closed.

For the Social Badminton competition, you must have also pre-registered for the day. Please note that the social badminton sessions are now fully subscribed and no further participants can be permitted.

What else do I need to know about the 3x3 Basketball Competition?

Will equipment be supplied for Social Badminton or do I need to bring my own?

We request that you bring your own racquet for social badminton. We will supply the shuttles for you to use.
