In 2024, the FISU 3x3 University World Cup was contested in both men's and women's events from 22-24 November in Xiamen, China.

The University of Sydney women (Maddy D'Alemida, Alex Kayrouz, Alexandria Oliver and Lauryn Walker) represented Oceania at the University World Cup, and finished 7th on the ladder after going down in the quarter final to the eventual winning university.
