Curtin University has multiple sporting opportunities available to students, from free programs to social sport to parkrun to Curtin Experiences. Curtin Experiences are ten week sport and exercise programs offered to students to get them out of the classroom and engaged on campus in new and exciting ways. Some of the programs offered as a part of the Curtin Experiences include:
Ballroom Dancing
BoxFit
Contemporary Dancing
Run Club (Couch to 5km)
Pilates
Tennis
Intro to AFL
Learn to Surf
There are several reasons to sign up for Curtin Experiences including to:
Learn something new: the perfect way to step out of your comfort zone and try a new sport, with plenty of programs to choose from
Get social: Have fun and get fit while hanging out with new and old friends
Take a break: Each 10 week program is a great opportunity to take a break from your busy university schedule
As a part of Curtin Experiences, the Have A Go week has sample sessions which are free and designed to give students a one time try before signing up for the full ten week program.
